Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer – Overview
We are currently working with an established HVAC & Refrigeration contractor based in the midlands area who have over 30 years’ experience in industrial and commercial Air Conditioning & Refrigeration services. They work on commercial sites such as Schools, Offices, Hospitals, Factories and other similar sites. They are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join the team covering the local area throughout East Midlands region, with most of the work being around Mansfield, Derby and Lincoln.
As an Service & Installation Engineer you will be responsible for Servicing, Maintenance and some installation of VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits & Cold Rooms in the above sites. The company operate mostly throughout the East Midlands, so there is no travelling Nationwide and no staying away from home at all! They mostly work with Daikin & Mitsubishi units so experience on this would be beneficial but not essential. The company have a great team atmosphere and a great team who all work together to get the job done, meaning you will have assistance where required on any installation work you do.
Due to this being a mobile role a full UK licence is required. They do operate a call out rota which currently stands at 1 in 4 however this is mostly over the summer months and can vary. For this you will receive a bonus for holding the phone and overtime rates if called out.

Experience Installing Air Conditioning Systems including VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits
F Gas 2079 Cat 1
Full UK Driving Licence
NVQ Level 2 or Time served
Electrical experience (desirable but not essential)
Experience installing Mitsubishi, Daikin (desirable but not essential)
Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer – Salary & Remuneration
Salary £36,000 - £40,000
Company Van + Fuel Card
Overtime Rates 1.5x, 2x
Call Out Bonus
20 Days + Bank Holidays (Shutdown at Christmas & New Year)
Any bank holidays or days between Christmas and New Years are given back in lieu
