Mobile HVAC Overhaul Engineer – Overview  

We are currently working with an established Climate Control & HVAC contractor in the Midlands who are seeking a Mobile Service Engineer carrying out servicing and breakdown works on HVAC Chiller units, compressors and other mechanical units. The company have been operating for over 50 years and have built a highly successful Rail HVAC division with contracts throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

You will work on a mobile basis, travelling to client sites to repair HVAC and Chiller units on trains. The work will be based throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire and as this is a mobile role, you will receive door to door travel pay to cover all your travel time on top of your salary. The company also offer a generous Profit Share scheme in which every employee receives a portion of the companies profits each quarter. You will be carrying out duties such as:
 
  • Attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment.
  • Stripping and rewiring of electrical components as well as electrical testing.

Experience on Rail HVAC Chiller units and compressors would be highly advantageous, as well as F Gas 2079 and electrical wiring experience.

Mobile HVAC Overhaul Engineer – Requirements
 
  • Experience of working within a similar role / industry
  • Logical troubleshooting skills
  • Full UK Licence
  • Happy travelling throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire
