Their commitment to sustainability and innovation drives their success in this ever-growing sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their renewables heating division.

Position Summary:
As a Renewables Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for their range of renewable heating products. Your expertise in energy-efficient solutions will contribute to their mission of promoting eco-friendly alternatives in the heating industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for renewables heating products.
    • Identify target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns.
  2. Business Development:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and installers.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions.
    • Explore new markets and partnerships to expand our customer base.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of renewable heating technologies, including heat pumps, solar thermal systems, biomass boilers, and air source heat pumps (ASHPs).
    • Educate clients on the benefits of these systems and tailor solutions to their specific needs.
  4. Sales Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
    • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive results.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  5. Quotations and Proposals:
    • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to create customized proposals.
    • Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
  6. Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
    • Use market insights to refine our product portfolio and pricing strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in sales within the renewable energy sector.
    • Familiarity with heating systems, especially renewables such as Air Source Heat Pumps would be advantageous.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of heat pumps, solar panels, and other renewable technologies.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and incentives.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Experience managing sales teams.
    • Motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable.
