Scheduler (Remote) – Overview

We are currently working with one of the UK's leading clean energy technology developers and operators who are seeking a fully remote Scheduler to join the team. They use ground-source technology to produce low-cost heat and hot water for buildings and to decarbonize Britain's buildings. They design, install, and manage clean heat solutions and currently own and manage more than 70 ground-source networks and provide heat to more than 3,000 homes in the UK. The Operations and Maintenance division is responsible for operating and maintaining a its own heat network installations in addition to an extensive portfolio for external clients.

This role would be managing and scheduling the workload for approximately 5-10 Engineers. This is a full-time remote Scheduler role reporting to the Service Co-ordinator. The Junior Scheduler will be responsible for assisting the Service Co-ordinator with day-to-day operations of the Operations and Maintenance department. They will also communicate with customers to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of service requests while keeping customers informed. Main duties to include:
 
  • Assist with answering day to day telephone calls and direct calls as required.
  • Contact clients to arrange apartment servicing, plant room servicing and planned maintenance.
  • Input dates / information into client software, for example, FixFlo.
  • Organise meeting locations for work events such as strategy and team days.
  • Raise Purchase Orders and request updates from suppliers on outstanding orders.
  • Assisting the Servicing Co-ordinator to ensure all information on our systems is logged correctly and accurately.
  • Log call outs from clients and pass information onto the Service Co-ordinator.
  • Assist with remote monitoring and resetting faults during working hours.
  • Maintain Operations and Maintenance filing structure.
  • Sign customers up to their various packages

Scheduler (Remote) – Requirements
 
  • Previous experience in a Scheduling role
  • Experience booking in work for Engineers
  • Experience taking in job orders, allocating to Engineers and collating necessary paperwork and details on CRM
