Service Engineer – Heat Pumps – Overview

We are working with a successful and established Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Service Engineer with experience in Heat Pumps to join their Operations & Maintenance team. Their work covers PPM, reactive maintenance and repairs of Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps for private and social housing.

The company specialise within installing Heat Pump Networks as well as individual GSHP & ASHP to commercial and large domestic properties such as Manor Houses, Universities, Schools, Retirement Homes and Care Homes. They also have service contracts for private housing where they maintain and repair both ASHP & GSHP. They have recently won a new contract covering 500+ Mitsubishi ASHP’s and Kensa GSHP’s throughout Southampton/Winchester area.

The company also work on commercial heat pumps. If you haven’t worked on Commercial Heat Pumps yet, they can give you full training, all they are looking for is an Engineer with good domestic heat pump knowledge who is keen to learn. They will also get you additional qualifications such as F-Gas if you don’t have it already.

Service Engineer – Heat Pumps – Requirements
 
  • Experience with Heat Pumps and willingness to train on commercial scale systems
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating
  • Unvented G3 & Water Regs
  • F Gas 2079 (Advantageous)

Service Engineer – Heat Pumps – Salary & Remuneration
 
  • Salary up to £40,000
  • Door to Door travel pay
  • Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
  • £150 retainer for Call Out + Overtime Rates if called out
  • 25 days Holiday + BH
  • Private Healthcare
  • Tools, Uniform, PPE, Mobile
  • Full Sick Pay
  • Training & Progression Opportunities
  • £30 monthly contribution to phone contract for Business use.
