We are currently working with an established and rapidly growing Solar company based in Oxfordshire who are looking for a Solar Electrician to join their installation department, working on the installation of Solar PV & Battery Storage Systems to high end domestic properties. The company specialise in Solar installation for private domestic customers with a focus on semi and detached properties. They don’t do any grant/social housing work.
Within this role, you will install Solar PV & Battery Storage systems on domestic properties. This could be on the main house but also out buildings, barns, garden rooms, gyms and more. They often work on high end properties so you’ll often be in nice locations! Typically, they will be 1-day installs, with the roofing team attending first to install the panels and the electricians coming after to wire up, test and commission systems. Where the systems are slightly large, additional days will be allowed for this.
The company operate throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire. They rarely go into London and they don’t want anyone travelling more than 90 minutes to a job, so the patch is nice and local.
They install a lot of SigEnergy, Tesla, GreenFox as well as some other manufacturers.
Solar Electrician – Requirements

- 2391 (advantageous)
- NVQ Level 3
- BPEC for Solar (Advantageous)
- Full UK Licence
Solar Electrician – Salary & Remuneration
- Salary of £38,000 - £42,000
