Low carbon recruitment is working with a rapidly growing renewable energy company based in Swindon who are looking for a Solar Lead/ Nominated Technical Person for MCS to head their Solar Division.
They are a start up with huge financial backing and have rapidly built their national subcontract networks for both Heat Pumps and Solar installations for private domestic customers and new build site. This role is an exciting opportunity not only to join at Supervisor level but to quickly progress to Head of Solar as they want someone to take ownership for the entire division.
Essentially, this company have a Sub-Contractor network nationwide. Your role as Solar Lead will be to help manage the installer network, auditing their installs through the job evidence they submit on the app, dealing with customer queries, helping to design systems and more. Your time will be split between the office and site and sometimes, you will also go to local jobs to lead on installation, wiring up and commissioning.
Solar Lead/ Nominated Technical Person - Requirements
- 18th Edition, 2391, NVQ Level 3 and Gold Card
- Strong knowledge of MCS Standards and experience auditing installations
- Solar PV / EESS qualifications and technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including inverters, panels, and mounting systems.
- High standard of client communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable)
