We are recruiting for the largest Solar installation company in the UK who are currently seeking a Solar Roofer to join their maintenance team. Our client have been operating since 2005. They have completed over 50,000 domestic solar & battery storage installs during that time across the UK.
This role is working within their Maintenance & Repair team. In each region of the country, they have their installation teams and then a Maintenance Team which cover the upkeep and ongoing maintenance of systems they’ve previously installed. You will be covering your local area, attending sites to carry out remedial/maintenance work on existing Roof Mount Systems at domestic properties.
Day to day you will complete maintenance work on existing Solar PV systems including replacement of faulty panels, removing panels to fix roof leaks and replacing them again, diagnosing and getting the monitoring system back online alongside other works. The company pride themselves on their scheduling/coordination, as a maintenance roofer you will carry out 2-3 jobs per day however these will always be in close proximity or on a route that makes your working day easy to complete.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Solar Roofer (Maintenance) – Requirements
- 3-5 years Roofing Experience
- Experience with Solar PV systems (install or maintenance would be advantageous)
- Experience working at heights
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Salary of £37,000
