We are working with a leading domestic and commercial renewable energy company, who are currently looking to expand their team and take on another experienced Solar PV Installer to join the team covering the Bristol area working on Solar PV Installations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all components are fitted correctly and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools. The Solar Installer will play a crucial part in promoting renewable energy solutions and helping customers reduce their carbon footprint.
Solar PV Installer Responsibilities
• Install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations.
• Perform electrical work related to solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Dig trenches for wiring as necessary, ensuring proper placement of cables.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and explaining system functionality to clients.
