We are working with a well-established renewable energy company based in the North East who are equipped to manage projects of any scale. They cover Solar PV Installations ranging from 50KW to 1.4MW from domestic to commercial properties as well as EV Charge points installations. They are currently looking for Roofers/Installers to work on domestic and commercial properties who they can train on Solar Panel systems – both in roof and on roof systems. covering areas from the North East to Dumfries and Galloway.
You don’t need any previous experience on solar as will be given full training. As a Solar PV Installer, you will be responsible for assisting with various Solar PV projects, performing heavy lifting, and utilizing power tools. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in construction and a passion for working outdoors. Work will be mainly in the North East of England, however some Commercial jobs could be anywhere in the UK.
Travel and accommodation would be paid for. The company offer on the job training, and it will be a mobile role moving from site to site once each project is complete therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
Solar Roofer – Requirements
- Experience working at Heights
- CSCS Card
- Experience on Roofing works
- Experience fitting in-roof Solar Systems (Advantageous but not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Salary £30,000
