We are currently working with one of the largest manufacturers of Heat Pumps, Comfort Systems & Renewable Energy products in the world, who have recently launched in Ireland and are looking for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer to become their Technical Expert in the region. They have been running for over 100 years with offices in 24 countries and over 5000 employees.
As their Technical Specialist Engineer for the area, you will be given full extensive training on their full range of heat Pumps. This will include the unit themselves, controls, wiring, the installation/ commissioning process as well as fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
Day to day, the role will consist of both on the tools and off the tools work. Within the role you would become the technical expert on their systems and primarily supporting their ‘Install Partners’ and other contractors who are installing their Units. You will be the first port of call for Technical queries and any support they may need, you will be the go-to person for technical support during the installation and commissioning process. You will also give installers training and advice on their systems and when required, go to site to fault find and repair systems that have broken down and offer training/feedback as to where the system went wrong.
You will have complete control over your diary and will work from home to schedule in and book visits with install partners or customers. This is a mobile role so a driving licence is required. As well as full training on their range of products, you will be put you through several courses to get you upskilled on Heat Pumps and other systems once you start. The role can offer significant progression as Ireland and NI are a key focus area for growth for them over the next couple of years and it is envisaged that the successful candidate will help build the engineering team around them and eventually progress to Technical Manager.
