Technical Field Sales Manager (Heat Pumps) – Overview
We are working with a rapidly growing Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Technical Field Sales Manager to join the team in the London & Home Counties area, focusing on the sale of Heat Pumps to domestic customers. Since incorporating in 2020, they have accelerated to operating nationally with 60+ employees and two offices. Due to the volume of inbound enquiries the company receive, there is minimal need for lead generation with this role. They have a huge amount of inbound traffic through their own advertising and are also main install partner for two of the largest energy companies in the country, dealing with requests for all of their customers.
As they continue to expand their air source heat pump sales division, you will be responsible for the whole end to end consultative sales experience for domestic installations. The role is field-based in the South East however the company do very minimal work in London itself, the majority of work tends to be in the Essex, Kent, Surrey or Hertfordshire areas. You will work on a split of 3 days on the road and 2 days working from home. You will take the initial enquiry, call the customer to qualify the lead and arrange an appointment, then attend site to survey their property. Following this, you will work with their in house design software to complete the heat loss calculations and designs before providing the customer with a quote and closing the sale.
It is envisioned that you would spend Monday qualifying leads and booking appointments, Tuesday – Thursday on the road visiting sites and Friday producing your designs and quotes.
Due to the technical nature of the role you must have experience in a plumbing/heating role in either sales, installation, service and or/design of domestic heating and hot water systems.

Salary of £35,000 (OTE £60,000+)
Commission & Bonuses - £300 per private heat pump sales, £100 per grant funded
